Private Events

Our purpose-built function spaces are available to hire for a range of private events. Boasting a long list of amenities, Portmore provides an adaptable venue for a wide variety of functions - including both formal sit down dinners for 100+ and more relaxed buffet style catering while you dance the night away. Whether you're looking to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, organise a club social event or just get the family together we have years of experience in helping you organise the perfect evening. 

Finding us couldn’t be any easier - located only 2 miles outside of Barnstaple Town Centre and maintaining easy access to the North Devon Link Road. We also have ample free parking on site with enough room for even the largest of functions. 

Our functions rooms are fully accessible and we have a disabled toilet onsite. Free Wifi is also available throughout the clubhouse.  

All catering and bar service are provided in house by our friendly team and our Events Co-Ordinator will be on-hand throughout the planing process.
