Wakes & Celebrations of Life

We understand that organising a wake or celebration of life can be a challenging and emotional experience, our goal is to provide a smooth understanding service that aims to make the process as straight forward as possible. All catering and bar services are organised by our team to help ease the strain of organisation.

With two rooms of different sizes, our adaptable function spaces are suitable for intimate occasions of under 30 and large gatherings. Our rooms have disabled access and there are disabled toilets on site.

Portmore is easily accessible from the A361 in the heart of North Devon on the outskirts of Barnstaple, located only a 15 minute drive away from the North Devon Crematorium simplfying the travel from your Church or Crematorium service. There is also ample free parking on-site.

We have many years experience working with local funeral directors to help with organisation and will happily communicate directly with your chosen director if this is your wish.
